Once every year, about 30 Nobel Laureates convene in Lindau, Germany, to meet the next generation of leading scientists. Around 600 students and post-docs from all over the world gather together for a week and get the chance to meet and discuss with the Laureates during lunches, walks and talks. Here, Melissa Vos is having lunch with Prof. Yoshinori Ohsumi who won the price for medicine in 2016 for his discovery of the autophagy process.
