Since April, Linn Welzel has been pursuing her medical doctorate in the research group of Prof. Dr. Katja Lohmann. Her research delves into the genetic causes of dystonias, a group of neurological disorders that lead to involuntary muscle contractions and abnormal movements.
Linn's dedication and talent have been recognized with the prestigious Lübeck Excellence in Medicine Scholarship, which will support her studies starting in October 2024.
