We are seeking competent support for our group at the Institute of Neurogenetics, University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein/ University of Lübeck. You will work on a project that studies the relation between defective lipids metabolism and mitochondrial dysfunction in the context of Parkinson’s disease. The project is funded by the Else Kröner Fresenius Stiftung.
- Plan and organize your experiments
- Lead your research project
- Participate in weekly group meetings
- You have a master’s degree in science (biology, molecular life science,...)
- You speak English fluently
- You should have well-developed social skills, a hands-on attitude and be able to work in a team
- You are ambitious, self-motivated and are willing to develop new skills and explore novel ideas.
- Experience with Drosophila is a plus, but not required
What we offer:
